Businesses can drive immense benefit from defining the strategy based on the data insights provided by the business leaders and the data scientists work hand in hand. To achieve this both parties need to learn to understand the other’s language. The business leaders need to understand the basic concepts of Data science to set the course of the Data strategy. Data scientists need to understand the business domain fundamentals to translate the meaning of data values and findings. When both the parties have gone the extra step to learn the basics of the other faculty, the whole team working in tandem can make significant progress.
