Would ChatGPT take away jobs? It is writing articles, Cracking exams, even writing a whole episode of a serial.
ChatGPT has captured the public imagination. It has stormed many areas of content and creation. So it is natural that the debate about are machines getting smarter than humans, would they rule the world are starting again. Popular science fiction stories like The Matrix have given us multiple scenarios to imagine. But where does the realty stand?
In my opinion, ChatGPT would be a great helper in many a jobs – but you will still need skilled humans to do the real job and be responsible for it.
GPTs are statistical machines pattern matching based on huge available data and extrapolating the response. Whereas human mind is an elegant system that can infer and form rules even based on very limited data.
As Naom Chomsky stated and I quote “the day where AI overtakes human intelligence “may come, but its dawn is not yet breaking”.
